COACH NOTICE BOARD

 

COACHES AND MANAGERS

 2008 END OF SEASON MEETING

 

The Junior Convenor and Committee would like to invite all midget, junior and youth grade coaches and managers to a debriefing meeting.

 

The purpose of this meeting is to get feedback on what went well this season - also what could be improved for next season.  Your input would be invaluable to assist the junior committee to better plan for next year.

To help with your planning for next season the following Coaching Courses will be available in 2009.

 

Junior Pathway.

Small Whites.  Theory & Practical.

Level 1 Junior Coaching Award (6 – 8) years.

Level 1 Junior Coaching Award (9 – 12) years.

Level 1 Junior Gold Award (6 -8) (9 – 12) years

Level 2 Junior Coaching Certificate – “Game Day Coaching”.

Level 2 Junior Coaching Certificate – “Goalkeeping”.

Level 2 Junior Coaching Certificate – “Player Centred Coaching”.

 

Youth Pathway.

Level 1 Youth Coaching Award (12 – 19) years.

Level 2 Youth Coaching Award – “Game Day Coaching”.

Level 2 Youth Coaching Award – “Player Centred Coaching”.

Paul is responsible for the overall coaching programme in our Junior
Section. As well as head coach of our Metro teams, his role includes the summer academy and the selection and coaching of our representative age group teams.

2008 MIDGET TRAINING
7th grade mass training sessions from 4:45-5:30pm every Tuesday night and

8th Grade Mass training sessions from 4:45-5:30pm every Wednesday night during the season.  These are led by Scott Howard (U17 player) and Sam Clark (U17 player and 1st team/reserves) with assistance from coaches.
